contents This dataset provides δ13C from benthic foraminifera from the last 956 ka. The site (DGL-1905) is located in the Sergipe-Alagoas Basin, in Northeastern Brazil, near the São Francisco River mouth. This data allows the interpretation of deep-current variations during the last million years. The benthic foraminifera samples were prepared in the Laboratory of Oceanography and Paleoceanography (Fluminense Federal University). The stable isotope data were measured from benthic foraminifera tests with a mass spectrometer (ThermoFischer MAT 253) at the Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology Laboratory (University of São Paulo).
