contents This dataset contains zircon U-Pb age data from a tuff sample (KRP309) collected at the Kawaruppu section, Nemuro Group, Hokkaido, Japan. The sample derives from the Upper Cretaceous-lower Paleogene succession investigated for stratigraphic assessment of the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary interval. Zircon U-Pb analyses were performed by laser ablation (LA, NWR213 Electro Scientific Industries) coupled with an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS Agilent 7700×) at Nagoya University, Japan.
