Its gross structure was determined by spectroscopic analyses, and the absolute configuration of the chiral centers was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis following crystallization. Hedopeptolide () inhibited the lipopolysaccharide-induced nitric oxide production in RAW264.7 cells.
