contents New sesquiterpene derivatives from stems and leaves of . Huong, Pham Thi Mai Anh, Do Hoang Vien, Le Thi Hanh, Tran Thi Hong Cuong, Nguyen The Cuong, Nguyen Xuan Nam, Nguyen Hoai From the MeOH residue of stems and leaves, three new sesquiterpene derivatives, namely smallantholides A - C (-), and two know phenyl propanoid glycosides ( and ), were isolated using various chromatographic techniques. The structural elucidation was confirmed by spectroscopic methods including 1D, 2D NMR, CD and HR-TOF-MS. Moreover, the -glucosidase inhibitory activity of - was also evaluated.
