A proposal to make the construction of the models more rapid and reliable is also undertaken. A case study (predation between a fish and its preys) is analyzed. By applying the null model it is found that random does not influence or determine the observed pattern and that this probably responds to any ecological mechanism. 2000 artículo científico 1405-0269 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=10401808 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=104 CIENCIA ergo-sum, Revista Científica Multidisciplinaria de Prospectiva application/pdf Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México CIENCIA ergo-sum, Revista Científica Multidisciplinaria de Prospectiva (México) Num.2 Vol.7
