His interpretationson the endogamic Berbermarriage and the celibacy in theFrench peasantry allowed him toformulate the criticism on the juridicalformality and the genealogicalperception of kinship. Insuch studies, Bourdieu puts asidethe notion of rule to considerkinship a practice.
