The objective was to carry out and collect results of studies on children living in areas of armed conflicts in Sierra Leona, Mozambique, Republic of the Congo and Colombia. The purpose is to elaborate on ways for better intervention practices in front of the problem mentioned. Based on the investigation carried out in Colombia, the article presents the main characteristics of the invisible phenomenon of children linked to the Colombian armed conflict.
