- The people ´s peace processes: Local resitance processes and the development of "zone of peace" in Colombia. Catalina Rojas Política Nariño Colombia Santander Civil War Peace Zones The objective of this article is to expose the case of three Colombian municipiosMogotes (Santander), Samaniego and San Pablo (Nariño) which declared their communitiesas zones of peace. Through the illustration of the process, development, obstaclesand problems when establishing a peace zone, the article hopes to develop the followingthemes:1) Local Resistance to violence: the development of the notion of neutral activity.2) The process of disarmament of the machinery of war: processes of recovery of spacesof peace. The main thesis of this article is that Peace Zones contribute to change in the process ofidentity, specifically such changes related to the notion of knowing oneself as victim ofthe conflict. Therefore, peace Zones contribute to the transition of a perspective centredin the victimization to a notion of empowerment in which the local communities mostaffected by violence in Colombia can themselves contribute to forge the conditions for theresolution and the reconciliation of the conflict in its own terms. 2004 artículo científico 0124-0781 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=11061107 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=110 Reflexión Política application/pdf Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga Reflexión Política (Colombia) Num.11 Vol.6
