For that reason, the point number 9 of San AndrÈs Larr·inzarAgreements and the seventh clause of the Legal Iniciative of IndianRights and Culture officially stated that the Mexican state had recognizedthat ìindian people are entitled to free determination and autonomy,as a part of the Mexican state [Ö] to acquire, operate and administratetheir own communication mediaî.
