| contents | Condiciones sociales y económicas de las usuarias del Programa de Planificación Familiar Vicente Piña Isabel Rodríguez Sociología follow up users active and non Family Planning Program family planning services In this research project the social and economicconditions of the users of the FamilyPlanning Program (FPP) in the Maracaibo andSan Francisco Municipalities are determined,and as a result it is possible to identify the factorsthat affect the access of the population to the servicesof the family planning program. In order todo this, a group of indicators related to the socialeducational and economic status of active andnon-follow-up users of the FPP was selected . Thesample included 380 active users and 319 non-follow-up users in the seven health facilities thatmade up the population. Based on the analysis ofthe data, the conclusions were that: a) more than80% of the users maintain a stable marital relationship,and frequently demand the FFP to preventnon desired pregnancies and illnesses transmittedsexually; b) the users interviewed havebetween one to three children; c) the users level ofeducation influences notably in the number ofchildren; d) A high number of users, over 50%,live in extreme poverty, and a significant proportionare housewives or are working in the informaleconomic sector. 2001 artículo científico 1315-0006 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=12210404 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=122 Espacio Abierto application/pdf Universidad del Zulia Espacio Abierto (República Bolivariana de Venezuela) Num.4 Vol.10 |
