Girbal Blacha Estudios Culturales Argentina Economic crisis Economic policy Political reform Economic history The author makes a historic review of Argentina?s economic cirisis for the last 120 years. She establishes that a retrospective analysis of the different economic crisis can be helpful to get some learning and to recognize differences and simmilarities between the worst economic crisis form the last century in Argentina, specially on the financial-economic field. The author points out that reflection over an integral policy for the productive structure and the growing of employment cannot be absent from any strategy designed for going through the present crisis, a crisis that also forces to reform the political system, to keep its legitimacy.
