In this context, Argentina is ?no doubt about it- one of the most ambitious neoliberal experiments in the capitalist periphery. Large transnational corporations, which in their home countries use to behave according to certain ethic an legal values, in the periphery simply embrace behavior patterns linked to corruption mechanisms, both politic and economic. Late 20th Century neoliberalism took Argentina through a deconstruction process of the nation-state, imposing both social fragmentation and the supremacy of competence-based individualism.
