- ¿Existe el "sentido común" de una "identidad colectiva"? Apuntes acerca de nociones ambiguas y aplicadas a Villa El Salvador Pascal Ferry Multidisciplinarias (Ciencias Sociales) DOES A "COMMON SENSE" OF A "COLLECTIVE IDENTITY" EXIST? VIEWS FROM VILLA EL SALVADOR. Taking into account the hypothesis that the feeling of belonging to a place plays a positive role in collective actions, this article will lay stress on the affirmation of identity, considered here as one of the factors that determines in this sense. The example used here comes from research on Villa El Salvador, a popular and peripheral district of Lima, often used as an example in varied fields such as city planning, neighborhood associations, fight against poverty and terrorism. Indeed, the unusual importance given to Villa El Salvador in several types of discourse (journalistic, political, scientific) justifies a focus on the symbolic dimension of this urban territory, one not explicable either in terms of its history or geography. Subsequently we will demonstrate what an appropriate research strategy could expect by considering the context in which Villa El Salvador exists, following an approach known as the ?ethnology of the contemporary world?. 1997 artículo científico 0303-7495 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=12626106 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=126 Bulletin de l'Institut français d'études andines application/pdf Instituto Francés de Estudios Andinos Bulletin de l'Institut français d'études andines (Perú) Num.1 Vol.26
