contents La pluviométrie au Pérou pendant les phases ENSO et LNSO Sandra Rome-Gaspaldy Josyane Ronchail Multidisciplinarias (Ciencias Sociales) Monthly rainfall data (1960-1990) taken from 21 stations in three separate areas of Peru (the coast, the Andes and the Amazonian Plain) are analyzed during the ENSO and LNSO phases of the Pacific Southern Oscillation. Only at Piura, in the Northern coastal region of Peru, are high rainfall amounts significant during the ENSO phase (using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test) but the rainfall amounts are very different from one event to another. In other areas, the differences between the ENSO (and the LNSO) phases and the normal periods are not significant. Nevertheless, rainfall is often lower in the Andes during the ENSO. It is equally lower during the LNSO period in the Southern Andes but more often higher in the north. On the Amazonian Plain, the spatio-temporal variability is too important to allow us to identify a general pattern. 1998 artículo científico 0303-7495 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=12627330 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=126 Bulletin de l'Institut français d'études andines application/pdf Instituto Francés de Estudios Andinos Bulletin de l'Institut français d'études andines (Perú) Num.3 Vol.27
