- Imagen y simbolismo en la arquitectura de Cerro Blanco, costa nor-central peruana Rafael Veega Centeno Sara Lafosse Multidisciplinarias (Ciencias Sociales) In this paper, we present the architecture and decorative features of Cerro Blanco, an architectural complex located in the Nepeña Valley, discussing the chronological placement, cultural affiliation, configuration and symbolism of one of its architectural units. The review of the information suggests that it is a site attributable to the Early Horizon or Late Formative Period (600/400-200 a.C.) and they should be coeval with the New Temple of Chavín. The small structure, excavated at Cerro Blanco by Julio C. Tello, seems to represent a sort of ?scale model? of a U-shaped architectural complex, showing explicitly some attributes of a ceremonial space. 2000 artículo científico 0303-7495 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=12629201 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=126 Bulletin de l'Institut français d'études andines application/pdf Instituto Francés de Estudios Andinos Bulletin de l'Institut français d'études andines (Perú) Num.2 Vol.29
