| contents | Democracia en México: transición hacia un corporativismo social Annel Vázquez Anderson Sociología Just as old democracies have the risk of becomingtyrannies of majority, the new democracies areconstantly in danger of being ungovernable. Institutionswhich are traditionally democratic, such as political partiesand parliaments, have not helped to eliminate or at least todiminish those risks. They must either decide pragmaticallywhat the majority wants or they lose themselves in theideal goal of responding to the confusing and contradictoryplurality. Do we have other alternatives besides these?Philippe Schmitter in1986 began to give us new hopes withhis proposal of renovated corporativism as an alternativeform of social representation. This paper attempts to bea proposal of institutional and organizational design. Amodel of social corporativism and a model of labor unionismfor Mexico are proposed. 2004 artículo científico 1665-0565 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=13802901 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=138 Espiral application/pdf Universidad de Guadalajara Espiral (México) Num.29 Vol. X |
