contents Autoritarismo con nuevo rostro o fragilidad democrática en Jalisco Laura Patricia Romero Sociología This article discusses the characteristics of the stages in Jalisco’s process of democratization, in order to contribute to an understanding of the problems in consolidating democracy nationally. I consider what has happened in state governments to be fundamental in understanding the dynamic of the national processes.
