  • Elementos básicos para el análisis de la cultura de las organizaciones desde la Psicología Néstor Raúl Porras Velásquez Psicología Culture organizations work and psychology Though this research, it is intended to debate about the place "Applied Psychology" occupies in the modern organizational field from a cultural perspective. To achieve that, the document shows a panoramic view of the main conceptual and methodological aspects to be taken into account when tackling organizational cultures, and takes up again some elements that have been put forward by the author in previous works (Porras, 2001, 2002, 2004). In the second part, some of the most quoted and controversial definitions and notions in this field of study are analyzed. Then, the importance of this cultural phenomenon for organizational psychology is discussed in terms of its configuration, functions and other phenomena that characterize the labor psychosocial reality.
