- Yes, nosotros tenemos a Wundt: Radecki y la historia de la psicología en Brasil Luiz Eduardo Pradoda Fonseca Hugo Leonardo Rocha Silvada Rosa Arthur Arruda Leal Ferreira Psicología pioneer Waclaw Radecki Historical operation This article aims to establish a discussion about the production of pioneers in the Àeld of history of psy - chology. For this historiographical discussion we use as example a character from history of psychology in Brazil: The Polish psychologist Waclaw Radecki (1887-1953). After a long time brieÁy being referred to in any Brazilian texts of history of psychology, Ra- decki was invented in the 1980’s as a pioneer of psy- chological science in Brazil. After this historic opera- tion since from the 1980’s, Radecki had his historical position and function changed to a more crucial one and even the modes of discourse changed to a more regular and positive reference towards him. We ana- lyze the case of Radecki through the example of Wil- helm Wundt, considered by classical historiography as the "father" of experimental psychology. Here we propose that Radecki has suffered a similar process, occupying a prominent place in Brazilian psychology.
