The newperspectives of agribusiness force companies and governments to be proactive in the creationof competitiveness oriented institutions, demand-driven and in a true public-privatepartnership, in order to achieve economic objectives for agricultural producers, as well asattaining rural development and national growth policies. In this context, agribusinessdevelopment centers are an ideal tool for achieving policy objectives and promoting ruraldevelopment.
