Objective: This retrospective study aimed to evaluate dental trauma prevalence among children treated in the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic of the State University of Amazonas (short UEA) from July 2005 to June 2009. Material and methods: The sample used in the analysis consisted of 171 children treated in the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic of the State University of Amazonas (short UEA), Manaus - Amazonas - Brazil. Results: Dental trauma prevalence among these children was 29.8%. No statistically significant association was found regarding to gender.
