A questão indígena na América Latina/Brasil no início do século XXI Paula Caleffi Estudios Culturales Multiculturality Indigenous people Brazil and Latin America This article makes a comparative analysis between Brazil and the other Latin American countries regarding the issue of the indigenous peoples and their rights at the beggining of the 21st Century. Two main issues are discussed; first, a recount on the historical process of indigenous organizations and movements looking for the recognition of their rights to cultural diferenciation; the second issue refers to the communitary justice enforcement within indigenous communities.
