His author deeply knows about the characteristics of the mass media during the process of the Spanish democratic restoration (1975-1982). Studies about the written press during this period are exiguous, which shows the need to recuperate, study and analyze this relevant period of our recent history. Here we study El Socialista, which from 1886, was the spokesorgan of the Spanish Workers Socialist Party (PSOE), in connection with the content and treatment given about Andalucía, specifically between 1977 and 1982. This period is known as the andalusian autonomist sexennial, a parallel and complementary process to that of the democratic transition.
