We develop a simple two-marketduopoly with product di��erentiation where a multi-product firm competes witha di��erent single-product firm in each market. Two competition enhancingmeasures are considered, divestiture of the multi-product firm and entry ofsingle-product firms in one of the markets. The results obtained indicate thatmore competition may lead to a welfare reduction.
