| contents | Administración cooperativa, capital social y valor de la producción en la agricultura: un ensayo analítico Sigismundo Bialoskorski Neto Economía y Finanzas co operatives Social Capital agricultural economy development of agriculture This essay presents a theoretic discussion regarding the importance of human andsocial capital, and the methods of managing contractual relations. As a specific case it analyses agricultural co-operatives, and the generation of value from agricultural production. It presents a multivariate analysis and a logarithmic, linear progression weighted with variables of production value by productive unit, production value by hectare and proportion of rural producers affiliated to co-operatives, education levels, participation in organisations, unions and association, among others. The results show that a higher level of education, is connected with greater higher production value by area, and the greater proportion of co-operative producers is correlated with greater production value by unit of production.
