Flaviá de Fernández Estudios Culturales We have selected authors of the north of Argentina, Hector Tizon and David Slodky whose discourses are located in the limits of hegemonic and metropolitan conceptions as much as mere local recoveries. We are not interested in performing the kind of poses of oppositions, but focus in the way in which both of them build research discourses of identity that beyond the complex individualities, allow to read tigh plots of cultural ruptures from different aesthetic perspectives but which build a language that leave out the traditional utopias of the country.
