Multidisciplinarias (Ciencias Sociales) This research provides a fresh view onthe competences currently required by the Chilean labour market for psychologists specialized in the labour/organizational field. Such competences were systematized and there by compared with Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA) psychology studentscurrent competences. A descriptive studyled to apply a questionnaire to (i) a sampleof business managers, foremen andconsultants who have been responsible forlabour/organizational psychologists; and (ii)to a sample of current UDLA students of psychology also specializing in labour/organizational field. Both studies allowed to compare students abilities and market demanded abilities.
