- Corporate, operational, and information systems strategies: Alignment and firm performance Ricardo A. Santa Alejandro Acosta Silvio Borrero Annibal Scavarda Administración y Contabilidad firm performance Strategic alignment information systems technological innovation operational effectiveness This study investigates the effect of the alignment between corporate, operational, and information systems strategies and firm performance. Data were collected from the application of 138 questionnaires to large utility companies in the Australian electricity sector. In the analysis, modeling using structural equations was used to establish the dependency relationship between the variables. The results suggest that aligning operational and information systems strategies can improve firm performance. Likewise, no direct effect of corporate strategy on the firm performance was found. 2020 artículo científico 0123-5923 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=21265891008 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/212/21265891008/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/212/21265891008/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/212/21265891008/21265891008.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/212/21265891008/movil 10.18046/j.estger.2020.157.3749 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=212 Estudios Gerenciales application/pdf Universidad ICESI Estudios Gerenciales (Colombia) Num.157 Vol.36
