This te chnology has shown its outstanding performance in terms of low uncertainty, high repea tability and long-term stability. However, new improvements for this technology have upgraded its results under specific process conditions usually considered as limiting. In this paper, a s ummary of the newest developments for Coriolis flow meters from Endress+Hauser appeared in previou s publications are discussed. These improvements include Reynolds number compensation w hich allows to dynamically compensate the effect of low Reynolds number applications in t he measurement results, as well as Multi- Frequency Technology (MFT) intended to compensate t he meter errors introduced under entrained gas conditions. Finally, direct viscosity measurement implemented in a straight tube Coriolis meter is also discussed. Fields of applica tion for each new feature are also commented 2017 artículo científico 0138-8576 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=223057352004 es http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=2230 Boletín Científico Técnico INIMET application/pdf Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones en Metrología Boletín Científico Técnico INIMET (Cuba) Num.2
