These three variables are the elements of the educational model, KVP, deve - loped by Clément. The aim of this study was to analyze the Sexual Education approach on textbooks, relating to STD/AIDS and condoms in 15 8 th grade Science textbooks, distributed in Brazil by PNLD in 2014. The data were collected based on two analytical matrices constructed within the European Biohead- Citizen Project and analyzed using the KVP model. The results show that despite the small improvement in the type of image present in textbooks, human bodies are still presented in a sectional shape and the images found are not very enlightening regarding sexual intercourse.
