Today morethan ever the old saying is valid: the customer is thenumber one priority for a business and it is to thecustomer that a business should direct all itsattention. With the inauguration of the Cultural,Scientific and Technological Duty Free Zone,Mérida has a great opportunity to become a hightechnology area. In short, we are heading towards aperiod of high technology, innovation andcomplexity in a global market where the bestproducts of one country are freely available to othercountries (Laudoyer, 1997).
