Nevertheless, it cannot be only examined from thepoint of view of quantitative indicators but also from the point of view of qualitativeones. One of the most important factors to be analyzed is the chain science- production. This analysis deals with topics such as the interaction science - technique- production and the influence technology has on social structures, their cultureand ideological conceptions. However, it is made clear that technological progressis not identical to social progress. Being the former a necessary condition but not asufficient one, for the latter occurs.
