- COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES DURING THE COLONIAL PERIOD IN GOIÁS - BRAZIL Tathiana Rodrigues Salgado Ciencias de la Tierra Trade Goiás Colonial period Since the colonial period, commercial activities have always been present in Goiás and even as subsidiary activities, they contributed to the economic dynamics of the Captaincy.In this historical and geographical article, these activities are discussed in the context of colonial economics. The research methodology is based on a bibliographical survey of the historical geographic formation of Goiás,and the documentary research used the databases of the Historical Geographical Institute of Goiás (IHGG) and the Ultramarinho Historical Archive of Lisbon (AHU).
