This study involves a complex methodology, including the continuous sampling method, frequency analytic methods, a descriptive-analytical method, and linguistic analysis of English and Russian sentences. The material for the study included complex and simple subjunctive mood sentences extracted from the original English text of Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson, and its translation to Russian by Nikolai Korneevich Chukovsky. The results present and discuss features of the subjunctive mood. 2019 artículo científico 1316-5216 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=27962177012 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/279/27962177012/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/279/27962177012/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/279/27962177012/27962177012.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/279/27962177012/movil en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=279 Utopía y Praxis Latinoamericana application/pdf Universidad del Zulia Utopía y Praxis Latinoamericana (República Bolivariana de Venezuela) Num.6 Vol.24 |
