Four hundred thirty four boys and 174 girls, ages 8 to 13, attendingpublic schools, were initially evaluated to determine the diagnosis of a disruptive disorder. Of thosediagnosed with disruptive disorders, 278 were assigned to the two experimental groups. The ChildDepression Inventory was administered to the children and the Bauermeister School Behavior Inventorywas administered to the teachers at three different stages. At post-treatment, significant reductions werefound in the treatment group vs. the control group in depressed mood and disruptive behaviors.
