contents Sivik Psychosomaticism Test and Test of Operational Style: Relationship with State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Beck´s Depression Inventory Tatjana Sivik Natasha Delimar Rebecca Schoenfeld Psicología BDI SPS STAI OPER Personality test Two interrelated personality tests, theSivik Psychosomaticism test (SPS) andtest of Operationality (OPER) areevaluated for construct validity. Ninty--eight employees at a university hospitaland 285 patients at a psychosomatic cliniccompleted SPS and OPER tests and theState -Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI)and Beck’s Depression Inventory (BDI).Calculations of the correlation coefficientsbetween SPS and OPER and BDI andSTAI show that SPS and OPER assessdepression and anxiety, demonstratinggood construct validity. Correlationcoefficients are overall higher for thepatient group, thus verifying ourhypotheses that projective tests are moresuitable than structural ones for theassessment of personality profiles andcoping styles of patients with at risk ofdeveloping of psychosomatic disorders. 1999 artículo científico 0874-4696 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=28710206 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=287 Revista Portuguesa de Psicossomática application/pdf Sociedade Portuguesa de Psicossomática Revista Portuguesa de Psicossomática (Portugal) Num.2 Vol.1
