The experiment consisted of a randomized bl ock split plot design, with dilutions of domestic effluents tested at plot level [25% - T 1 , 50% - T 2 , 75% - T 3 , 100% of secondary domestic sewage - T 4 and 100% water supply with soil mineral fertilization – T 5 ] on soils of different textures. The plant height was significantly greater at only at 15 and 30 DAP, reaching a maximu m value of 67.30 cm with 100% wastewater on the 50th DAP. The cotton production wa s not influenced by the application of different levels of secondary domestic sewage; but a linear incr ease of productivity was ob served in the sandy soil, reaching 1,363.45 kg ha -1 with the application of 100% of domest ic sewage.
