The author presents the nature of narrativeas a multi-level web of meanings that make a stoiy possible. Narrativeis approached in its Spanish name: relato ^which immediatelyrefers to relation, in a broader sense, so that notions such as life andworld can be considered in their symbolic value as a construction madeby the subject, with the same principles governing the making of astory.
