- Análisis comparativo de dos instrumentos de evaluación clínica: OQ-45 e InterRAI- Salud Mental Constanza Lara Carlos Cruz Andrea Vacarezza Ramón Florenzano U Alejandro Trapp Medicina OQ45 Inter RAI To evaluate the quality of mental health care is of fundamental importance. The Inter RAI Mental Health is an international instrument, created to integrally evaluate treatment. It integrates information from the clinician opinion and reports from other sources. This study compared the Inter RAI MH with OQ 45.2, designed by Lambert et al and and validated in Chile, to measure the outcomes of treatment. The sequential sample was formed by 25 patients of Day Hospital and 25 acute inpatients from the Psychiatric Service at Hospital del Salvador, a general public hospital in Santiago de Chile. Both instruments were applied at intake. Results, based on expert judgment, showed that 29 items of both instruments are refer to similar variables. On the other side, 8 of the 29 items have significant statistical association. This is only for the items of the OQ 45.2 related to depressive and anxious sintomatology. There is no association between Inter RAI and OQ 45.2 in items that are refer in OQ 45.2 to social role or interpersonal relationships. It is important to have an external and more objective evaluation of the patients, because sometimes this enables to give a clear opinion on some disfunctional areas.
