Material and methods: Urine samples of 182 patients were evaluated. A microscopic exam was carried out and urine culture. Pyuria was defined like presence > 5 white blood cells/high power field. Results: Sensibility was 25.8%, specificity 94.7%, positive predictive value 50.0% and negative predictive value 86.1%.
