  • Chinese and Indian COVID-19 Vaccine Diplomacy during the Health Emergency Crisis Laerte Apolinário Augusto Leal Rinaldi Rodolfo de Camargo Lima Relaciones Internacionales 19 COVID China India South Health diplomacy has played a vital role worldwide during the coronavirus outbreak. One crucial mechanism in this regard has been “vaccine diplomacy,” which describes country efforts to share COVID-19 vaccines. China and India are ahead of other countries in bilateral vaccine donations due to their South-South Cooperation policies. Looking forward, how and why are these two countries employing their vaccine diplomacy strategies? Our results suggest that neither is acting only for altruistic reasons, because economic and political interests are the main drivers behind their strategies. 2022 artículo científico 0034-7329 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=35870295014 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/358/35870295014/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/358/35870295014/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/358/35870295014/35870295014.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/358/35870295014/movil 10.1590/0034-7329202200114 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=358 Revista Brasileira de Política Internacional application/pdf Universidade de Brasília Revista Brasileira de Política Internacional (Brasil) Num.1 Vol.65
