Tests for the induction ofsex-linked recessive lethals were carried out with both compounds. With diurononly, a test for sex chromosome loss using a repair deficient system was carried outin addition. Under the conditions of experiments, dalapon proved negative anddiuron positive in the recessive lethal test. The results obtained for the sexchromosome loss test are largely negative.
