  • EFECTO DE LA REFRIGERACIÓN SOBRE LA MOTILIDAD, INTEGRIDAD DE MEMBRANA ACROSOMAL Y REACCIÓN ACROSOMAL EN ESPERMATOZOIDES CANINOS Iris Manosalva P. Constanza Cortés Víctor Leyva V. Veterinaria dog sperm chilled sperm acrosome reaction membrane integrity mitochondrial activity Preservation methods of spermatozoa using refrigeration have been developed forcanine sperm; however, the rate of fertilization is still low, possibly due to cell damage forunknown reasons. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of refrigerationupon motility, mitochondrial activity, acrosomal membrane integrity, and acrosomal reactionin dog sperm incubated in three culture media (Ferp Talp, CCMm, Sp Talp) using newmethodologies (Mito Tracker, Lyso Tracker, SBTI). The results indicated that exist asignificant decrease (p<0.05) in motility, mitochondrial activity, and acrosomal membraneintegrity in refrigerated sperm in comparison with fresh sperm. Also, the dynamic ofacrosomal reaction was different in refrigerated sperm in comparison with fresh sperm. The Sp Talp and CCMm media showed the best results in holding the mitochondrialactivity and acrosomal membrane integrity. 2005 artículo científico 1682-3419 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=371838843003 es http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=3718 Revista de Investigaciones Veterinarias del Perú, RIVEP application/pdf Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos Revista de Investigaciones Veterinarias del Perú, RIVEP (Perú) Num.2 Vol.16
