The mas! important evidence [6J is rhe effectiveness of the drugs ¡rom the group ofselective inhihitors of serotonin central reuptake (SI-5HT) in the treatment ojobsessive-compulsive syndrome. Sertraline is safe and effective [6] in the treatment ofobsessive-compulsive syndrome. Very numerous authors [23, 12, 11,6,31] have used sertraline in the treatment of this syndrame with evidently good effect.
