The main difficulties are the high costs and lack of support from the port authority to encourage the implementation of some practices.Implications for theory and practice This study aimed to disclose sustainability practices adopted at container terminals in Brazil, as well as provide some content, both for academia and companies, that may assist in developing new research on this theme and implementing these practices in other organizations. 2021 artículo científico 0103-6513 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=396766539005 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3967/396766539005/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3967/396766539005/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3967/396766539005/396766539005.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3967/396766539005/movil 10.1590/0103-6513.20200113 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=3967 Production application/pdf Associação Brasileira de Engenharia de Produção Production (Brasil) Vol.31
