Michal Hulman Panagiotis Artemiou Stefan Durdik Branislav Bezak Andrej Domonkos Eva Goncalvesova Ivo Gasparovic Medicina atrial mass atrial thrombus Left atrial myxoma heart transplantation We present a case of left atrial thrombus mimicking myxoma after orthotopic heart transplantation. Multimodality imaging established the diagnosis of atrial myxoma, and the patient was treated accordingly, but the definite diagnosis after surgical excision and histology showed left atrial thrombus. This report demonstrates the limitations of multimodality diagnosis in tumors with features highly suggestive of an atrial myxoma. 2025 artículo científico 0102-7638 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=398982952003 https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3989/398982952003/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3989/398982952003/html/ https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3989/398982952003/398982952003.epub https://www.redalyc.org/journal/3989/398982952003/movil 10.21470/1678-9741-2024-0328 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=3989 Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Cardiovascular/Brazilian Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery application/pdf Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Cardiovascular Revista Brasileira de Cirurgia Cardiovascular/Brazilian Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery (Brasil) Num.6 Vol.40
