We experimentwith a wide variety of data sets to the task of textual Entailment(TE) and evaluate the contribution of an algorithm that expandsa monolingual TE corpus that seems promising for the task ofCLTE. We built a CLTE corpus and we report a procedure thatcan be used to create a CLTE corpus in any pair of languages. We also report the results obtained in our experiments with thethree-way classification task for CLTE and we show that thisresult outperform the average score of RTE (Recognizing TextualEntailment) systems. Finally, we find that using WordNet as theonly source of lexical-semantic knowledge it is possibly to build asystem for CLTE, which achieves comparable results with theaverage score of RTE systems for both two-way and three-waytasks. 2011 artículo científico 1870-9044 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=402640458010 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=4026 Polibits application/pdf Instituto Politécnico Nacional Polibits (México) Vol.44
