Consequently, merging different data from different knowledge bases isa key issue for providing support for decision-making. Inthis paper, we explore an argumentation context approach, which follows how medical professionals typically reason, inorder to merge two basic kinds of reasoning approachesbased on logic programs: deductive and abductive inferences. In this setting, we introduce two kinds of argumentationframeworks: deductive argumentation frameworks and abductiveargumentation frameworks. For merging these argumentationframeworks, we follow an approach based on argumentationcontext systems. We illustrate the approach by considering twodifferent declarative specifications of evidence-based medicalknowledge into logic programs in order to support informedmedical decisions. 2013 artículo científico 1870-9044 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=402640462006 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=4026 Polibits application/pdf Instituto Politécnico Nacional Polibits (México) Vol.48
