contents Conventionality and Relationality in Relativistic Space-Time Rafael Andrés Alemañ Berenguer Filosofía time space Relativity empiricism relationalism The actual information concerning the geometric structure of the world, i.e. the structure of spacetime that is conveyed to us through the theory of general relativity, is discussed. Different proposals related to several philosophical schools (coventionalism, empiricism, etc.) are dealt with. The conclusion -still open to further debate- seems to point to the fact that although space-time has an objective existence, its metric shows a relational or non-absolute character. 2012 artículo científico 0124-4620 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=41423933003 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=414 Revista Colombiana de Filosofía de la Ciencia application/pdf Universidad El Bosque Revista Colombiana de Filosofía de la Ciencia (Colombia) Num.24 Vol.XII
