  • The impact of globalization via the Internet and children’s rights in student sexual abuse in urban areas Shahnaz Rahpaymaelizehee Bahare Fallahi Mohtaram Rabbani Masoumeh Pourrajab Multidisciplinarias (Ciencias Sociales) Ur ban Globalization Children’s Rights Child Sexual Abuse The aim of this literature review paper is to show the negative consequences of globalizationvia the mass media, especially the internet, on student sexual abuse, to provide analysesof children’s rights and their shortcomings in this arena in urban areas, and to offer somesolutions to reducing student vulnerability. The limitations of the research are based oninsufficient information in the case of sexual abuse due to cultural issues in different states, which mean that not all cases of abuse by parents, teachers and the authorities are reported,so it is impossible to adduce complete data on victims of student sexual abuse. We shallattempt to show the growing danger of sexual abuse for students that poses a threat to futuregenerations due to one of the major aspects of globalization—the internet—by taking intoaccount diverse cultural communities and their dynamic limitations and political and socialstructures. This paper studies the different laws on child sexual abuse in some countries andsome of the national and international organizations that support children’s rights. It shallalso define the increasing sexual abuse of students and their access to the internet. 2013 artículo científico 0188-6266 https://www.redalyc.org/articulo.oa?id=41628339004 en http://www.redalyc.org/revista.oa?id=416 Acta Universitaria application/pdf Universidad de Guanajuato Acta Universitaria (México) Num.3 Vol.23
